Distinguished Parliamentary career of almost 40 years has held senior positions including: Foreign Office Minister for Africa, The UN, Caribbean, Overseas Territories and Conflict Issues; and the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Libya among others. He sits in the House of Lords after being awarded a Life Peerage in 2020.
Thirty years’ experience in oil and gas focused primarily on finance and business development. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Finance, he has worked for Bank of America; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; and Credit Suisse. He has advised public and private companies in a variety of financing and strategic mandates and served as CEO or Managing Partner of several public & private businesses.
Former Chairman of Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft e.V., the prestigious German-African Business Association, Dr. Liebing is the CEO of Conjuncta GmbH, a boutique investment and project development company. His company is currently involved i.a. in the development of a high-profile €1.5 billion green hydrogen project to generate hydrogen from 600 MW of electricity. The project has the potential to become the first supplier of green hydrogen for Germany.
Claudio Coltellini is an Italian citizen now residing with his family in the state of Florida. Prior to working in the U.S. onshore oil and gas sector, having graduated with a degree in economics and business, he joined Deutsche Bank where he worked for seven years. He has invested in the U.S. oil and gas sector for approximately 15 years and is CEO of four private U.S. oil and gas companies focused on investment in the states of Texas, California, Kansas, and Louisiana.

Twenty-five years of executive management, operational oversight, private equity, investment banking, business development and strategic advisory experience focused entirely on the energy industry. A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Economics and prior to forming Vega Energy, he has worked for CC Natural Resource Partners, Energy Capital Solutions, the Hunt Oil Company and the Enron Corporation. He has served in numerous financial and operational oversight capacities as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President as well as served as a Director on numerous company boards. He has advised numerous public and private companies, and his transaction experience includes 25 M&A transactions totaling $1.3 billion in value, 43 equity transactions totaling $1.0 billion in total capital raised and 37 senior and mezzanine debt transactions totaling $1.3 billion in total debt capital raised.
Andy is a seasoned and entrepreneurial energy executive with 30 years’ experience spanning the upstream oil & gas industry, capital markets and corporate finance. He commenced his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Chevron and Kerr McGee in the UK North Sea before moving into investment banking where he held oil & gas equity research and corporate finance roles at J P Morgan Cazenove and other mid-sized investment banks and corporate finance boutiques.
Andy has a wide experience of financing private and publicly listed small and mid-cap companies in the oil and gas sector and has worked on IPOs, RTOs, M&A and farm-in/outs across LSE and ASX markets. Andy served as Vice President of Corporate Affairs at AIM-listed Tower Resources plc where he was involved in a series of corporate and asset transactions and capital raisings, as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed Hartshead Resources NL focused on the development of UK Southern Gas Basin assets and Chief Financial Officer of AIM-listed Sound Energy plc.
Andy holds a BEng(Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
